On a sabbatical now, I've been stumbling across quite a few interesting things. This blog is a scrapbook of sorts where I want to keep throwing in things that I find fascinating. Something like the old wooden box I had when I was a kid, which had an amazing collection of memorabilia ranging from red manchadikurus to white cars and blue gods. If you care to ferret, you might find something interesting here. One post a day. Like the title says, one for the road. Who knows, maybe two.

So you want to be a writer?
Charles Bukowski's words are inspiring. The video definitely is not.
It's certainly worth waiting to be able to produce words of such depth, after listening to him

ReplyDeleteI play this in a loop on bad days. It does have a galvanic effect! Even wanting to scream back at him is effective, it snaps one out of torpor.
